Have I mentioned lately how cute my little sister is?

This past Sunday I met up with the entire Nelson family at an Encinitas beach. We were lucky to have such beautifully clear skies, which made for a great day.

Chris and I work together during our “day jobs” and she is also an amazing photographer (our family has been lucky enough to be her models). I give the prize for “easiest shoot ever” to this family. They were so laid back and their kids were PERFECT!! Plus, it was a beautiful day after such a rainy week.

My niece, Adelaide June, turned 1 on April 21. She is growing up into such a beautiful little lady, who makes me laugh at all the funny faces she makes. My husband looks at Addie’s pictures and says it makes him want to have a girl. Those are my thoughts exactly!

I had so much fun on this shoot and loved so many of the pictures (seriously, could she get any cuter?!), that I thought I’d put two posts up to display all of them! Enjoy!

Bonnie Anne (yes, her middle name is Anne with an “e”, that’s how cool she is…I’m thinking of starting a club) is graduating high school in a couple months. We headed out to Rancho Carrillo to take her senior portraits. We had a great time chasing the peacocks around. There were so many of them!

Jenni and CJ have five of the most beautiful kids on the planet! We went to Discovery Lake and played around and the twins had fun messing around with my camera. I think we might have some budding photographers on our hands!
And this one, just to show off each of their individual personalities…

Chris is a super laid back, down-to-earth kind of guy. He actually graduated early and is deciding where to go to school in the fall. I’m sure whatever college he chooses will be lucky to have him!

This precious, little 18-month old is my cousin’s daughter and we are lucky enough to share a birthday! They were in town for a family visit, so we shot some cute portraits in my yard before it started raining. I love how she holds her little finger up to her chin like she is pondering life. So cute!

I love big families and the Nielsens are no exception. Since they were all in town, we got together for some family pictures. The Nielsens yard provided a great backdrop and at one point, the grandkids all piled onto the John Deere tractor with their “papa”.
